Didache 4:13: Implications for the preservation and transmission of the NT?

Didache 4:13 (M. W. Holmes trans.): "You must not forsake the Lord's commandments but must guard what you have received, neither adding nor subtracting anything [mēte prostitheis mēte aphairōn]."

Implications for early Christian views on the preservation and transmission of NT?

I think you’re onto something here. Revelation 22:18-19 seems to be a bookend. But regardless of how it’s exegeted, if it’s done faithfully, most modern texts fail spectacularly. How red handed is the man who alters the very warning of God? I think this argument using this text is an Achilles heel, an indefensible position. Men have been squirming since the Garden, though. I digress. Just wanted to stop by and cheer you on, fellow sojourner, even from Pastor Truelove’s congregation. Grace and peace.
