In section 6 of the KJV Preface, a robust Protestant view of Greek translations of the OT, including the LXX, is set forward. It provides much needed clarification for our day.

Thank you for this useful look into the past on OT textual criticism of the Masoretic Text. Seems more informed than most modern scholars who assume a single LXX. Are there any resources you recommend for further reading from an ecclesiastical/confessional view of OT textual criticism of the Masoretic text? I already started collecting and reading books you recommended for NT textual criticism on your blog and have found them very helpful in recovering a confessional bibliology.
