Images from the 2011 Keach Conference

We had a wonderful Keach Conference over the weekend, Friday-Saturday, September 30-October 1, 2011.  This was our tenth annual meeting.  The theme was "Of Divine Providence."  Dr. Joel Beeke gave two stirring messages on Afflictions and Providence (taken from Hebrews 12:3 and Job 1:20-22, respectively) and Pastor Watts two weighty addresses on the providential preservation of Scripture.  Audio from both messages will be posted online soon.  We had 151 persons registered through EventBrite (the first time we've done online registration).  Covenant RBC in Warrenton did a tremendous job of hosting the conference.

Below are a few images to give you a flavor of the meeting:

I'm listening to Ye Belong to Christ, preached by Rev Watts this very minute. Precious!

As I listen, I'm picturing you all there, and especially my dear friends, the Wagners. Was with you all in spirit.... :)

I pray that great fruit of the Spirit will flow from the weekend.

Annie,

Thanks for your comment and prayers!

I was speaking with the Wagners after church Sunday and we agreed that you and your family really ought to come and visit the weekend of the Keach Conference next year (or in some future year).

Glad also that you got to listen to Pastor Watts' sermon. He preached two powerful messages on that Lord's Day. It was really a delight to have fellowship with Pastor Watts and his wife Jill. Very gracious and choice people.

Grace, Pastor Jeff

Dr. Riddle, I just wanted to thank you for all that you've done on behalf of the Keach Conference as well as your writings on the subject of textual criticism. My family and I were at the conference last weekend. My wife and I were very convicted about the issue of defending the traditional texts. There was a lot of information presented which we never heard before. All this week we've been reading about and discussing this issue.

I will continue to keep you and the fellowship of Christ Reformed in my prayers. I look forward to seeing y'all again, Lord willing, in the future.
